A war is brewing…

Heartbroken and lost, Sadie left her family when she was only sixteen to fight evil. Years of searching out and destroying the vermin of the supernatural world have left her ruthless and jaded, and powerful.

Sadie’s success has made her a target, and a series of cryptic warnings leaves her questioning what is being asked of her. But nothing in her past has prepared her for the obstacles she now faces in trying to rid the world of a resurrected evil that no one saw coming.

From a world full of magic and the paranormal, lives Sadie Tabors, a sorceress whispered to now be the strongest alive. On the run from past tragedy, Sadie has been exterminating bad guys all over the states in her quest to save innocents. Five years after leaving her family at the age of sixteen, her loved ones have finally tracked her down and are bringing her home for a long awaited celebration. Unbeknownst to Sadie and crew, they’re about to get roped into a whole new adventure full of danger, love, and suspense. Only this time, Sadie is front and center to life altering events that will forever affect all of their futures.
Sadie is a fierce heroine who shoulders a great and unwavering need to protect those around her. Her stubborn, iron willed personality lends her the ability to continue fighting for her cause. Experiencing all that she has, Sadie has a maturity beyond her years, as well as, a vulnerability that shows her youth. One of my favorite YA heroines I’ve had the pleasure to read.
The Dark Sorceress Trilogy takes place in a multi series book universe created by Felicia Tatum. The correct reading order start with The White Aura Series, followed by Unbound Desires Novelettes Vol 1, then the trilogy itself. However, the author does an applaud worthy job of including enough background that I wasn’t lost and it didn’t hinder my enjoyment of the story. The book does end with a cliffhanger that will have you scrambling for Straying Sadie. Review coming soon!
A new fan in the making, I give Scornful Sadie 5 cupcakes!
