As soon as I got this book in to my hands, I was super intrigued. The captivated me right off the back, and after reading the book I think it is a perfect fit!

In the beginning we meet Ani Sarif a young woman, who has been working years for government agency as a top tier hacker who is only seen as a hacker, so when she finally get a chance to do her first undercover  job she jumps on it. Her mission is to seduce Richard Redford, the head of one of the biggest software companies in the world. Her seduction is the key to finding out if he had been selling secret information.

As the story unfolds we follow along as Ani has to figure out how to succeed at her mission. She has to think quickly on her feet more than once or twice.

In my opinion the plot was built out perfectly, it was easy to follow with  and it wasn’t confusing in the least bit keeping the reader captive until the very end, The characters were interesting and you could see yourself the heroine’s shoes, their backgrounds made each of them even more complex and left me want to know even more about the side characters too. Sex scenes between two of the main characters were tastefully written and could make anyone reading hot under the collar!

Rating- This story will get five out of five cupcakes from me.

Disclaimer- I was given ARC of this story for honest review.

Pretty little Rose is historical erotica like you have never read before so buckle up and get ready for a steamy ride!

Rose Winter is the young daughter of a Lord. She should be married soon to a suitor, however her parents have huge problem on their hands with it comes to Rose. Though she is a daughter from a respectable family she acts like a spoiled brat.

Her parents have asked for the help of the renowned Titus Burlingham, a tutor who is known from turning unruly brats to sophisticated socialites  and ladies. After their first official meeting, Rose is ready to make a run for it but quickly realizes that getting away from will not be as easy as she first thought it would be!

As the story follows Rose is introduced a new kind of style of life where she is ‘’turned’’ into a toddler, she has to wear diapers and is to be bottle fed, which to her surprise she finds herself enjoying. There is so much more than just age play and other sexual themes in this story, you can find how their feelings start to grow for each other, but not everything always goes as well as in love stories, there are sometimes dark storms that each of the characters have to survive if they can.

The story itself is well written and the plot makes you want to read more and more.

This story isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, because the sexual themes featured, but I myself found it to be interesting. So I recommend it to those that aren’t scared off easily about different kinds of sexual stories.

Rating- I give this story 4 out of 5 Cupcakes.

Lexi Balefire -match maker extraordinaire loves helping people find love and happiness- it’s her bread and butter and she is damn good at it. She has a sixth sense when it comes to finding someone’s soulmate. Her job is promising happily ever afters – only thing is she isn’t too sure about her iwn happy ending….

Lexi come’s from a long line of witches sworn to protect the Balefire Flame- however other than the gut feeling she gets about people’s love lives she has no magic like at all… With the help of her crazy talking cat and her even crazier fairy (yep those kind of fairies) godmothers can she find her magic before it’s too late?

The Sweet-

I enjoyed the author’s take on the many relationships Lexi has and also begins to build during this story- They are all well rounded and very realistic. The way she interacts with the characters is weaved smoothly into this witchy tale!

I also really enjoyed how much wit and comedy can be found within the page’s of A Match made in Spell. The humor flows with out a hitch into this story and is so natural and isn’t at all forced on the reader but instead gifted. I found myself chuckling out loud in many an awkward place- i.e. my job ha!

Another plus for me was the plot- it was well thought out and never rushed or over thought making it very enjoyable and at the same time not at all predictable- I mean I was able to figure out some plot twist really quickly while other’s surprised the crap out of me- that’s just they way I like my Cozy’s!

Rating- 5 out of 5 cupcakes! I suggest this for any one looking for a light hearted witchy cozy to brighten their mood! This is the first in the series and i can not wait to see the rest of the trouble Lexi will get herself into!

His to Own by Autumn Winchester Review

His To Own by [Winchester, Autumn]

Title- His to Own

Author- Autumn Winchester

Genre- Suspenseful Dark Romance

Purchase Link- Amazon KU

Taken in the dead of night, Avidya Ray has no idea what to expect when she’d been blindfolded and given to a man that holds her life in his hands.

He will claim her, own her, no matter if she fights against his desire or not.

She is no stranger to the way life works, or so she thought. Growing up, Avidya knew what to expect.

Her father was clear that she’d be married off by the age of nineteen, but now, everything she once knew is no longer.

Herself included.

Reviewed by Kitty Grimm

The story starts with a young Avidya being kidnapped while she is visiting her friend. Avidya is terrified and can only imagine what her captures have planned for her. She has been taken as a payment to Zachariah, someone who will hopefully become her salvation.

Everything from character design to plot were executed perfectly in my opinion. I found this book to be an interesting read and really enjoyed how everything started to unveil for each of the characters including their relationships to one another.

The author kept me on the edge of my seat guessing what would happen next and I was happily surprised to see that not everything was what it would seem. She kept teasing us with the sexual tension between Avidya and Zach which really added a sexy and steamy feel to the story.

His to own is something that in my mind Fifty Shades of Grey could have been! The BDSM aspect of the story was well written and excuted, Every scene and nuance was written and explained so well, again in my humble opinion this is something that FSOG was sorely lacking.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading a good steamy book that features a truly well written plot. It will make you purr like this kitten!

Rating- 5 out of 5 Cupcakes!

Dylan Apel is having one heck of a summer. She knows her hand-made clothing is special, but magical? Discovering that she’s a witch is bad enough, but when Dylan realizes there are folks who’ll kill to possess her witchy powers— that’s enough to make a girl want to hide out in the back of her boutique. Only problem is, Queen Witch is in town, itchin’ to make sure Dylan learns to cast spells, and this witch won’t take no for an answer.

Dylan must learn fast—someone just killed her best client with a poisoned gown meant for Dylan. Was it the tall, mysterious hottie in black, who’s suddenly everywhere she goes? After all, the first thing Roman Bane says is he doesn’t like witches. Is he here to save her, or kill her?

Dylan is barely getting a handle on her new powers when she finds herself surrounded by witches bossing her this way and that, local police nosing about, and wary clients—death by clothing is not good for business. And the solstice is coming … a time when witch powers are at their peak. Can Dylan survive the chaos long enough to figure out her new life?

Dylan Apel owns her own clothing shop where she stitches together garments that make the wearer feel like a million bucks! She has always thought her clothing was special but she doesn’t know just how special or shall I say magical her sewing abilities truly are. That is until her life as well the lives of her sisters Seraphina and Reid are in danger because of a new paper article in the local newspaper.

There are witches out there who have discovered what Dylan herself has no clue about that the Apel sisters are in fact witches. Not only that but as newbie witches their powers can be literally ripped from their bodies and there are witches willing to kill her for it!

The Sweet-

I am a huge fan of cozy mysteries especially witchy ones but I really liked the premise of this one. Revolving around BOTH food and clothing as well as a family of funny intelligent woman it really was enjoyable to read.

I found the plot not only well written but funny and witty. I fell in love with the Apel family and their particular brand of sass! Especially the both of the girls’ grandmothers who are a hoot!

I pride myself in no spoilers so let us just say that whodunnit comes out of no where! When it is revealed you don’t know how to take – well at least I didn’t because I had the I knew it moment but then I was saddened that I was right and then I got angry so I kinda went through the ringer so to say!

The Sour-

Though I loved the Apel Girl’s I did find Reid to be a bit annoying at times- honestly if I was in her shoes I probably would be as well, however her was a teenie turn off for me.

Rating- 4.5 out 5 cupcakes!

Books into Movies and how I feel about them!

Okay so this is a subject that many a booknerd has strong opinions about including me.There was a time when I would be over the moon to hear that a beloved book was being turned into a movie but now I am not quite sure i am still a fan.

Sometimes when reading a book we see the world and the characters in our minds eye and they become so realistic and we almost become protective of any one wanting to change or mess with the world and characters we have come to know so well and love so hard!

We all collectively hold our breathes as casting decisions are announced and some hearts are broken whilst other are pleasantly pleased as their dream cast comes to life. We readers become so invested in the movies and the changes that may or may not happen because the books we read are often there in times of need. We escape into the worlds that our books hold and we sometimes fear a movie will simply not do our beloved books justice!

Once casting is down and filming starts we all sit and wonder- What will they keep? What will the change? Will they use my favorite parts? Will they ruin my beloved book?

Then comes opening day and we all line up for hours and sweat with anticipation and excitement. Gather our favorite snacks and book lovers alike and patiently wait for the movie to begin, all the while butterflies are dancing a jig in our stomachs and we can barely contain ourselves! Then when all is said and done- the silent war begins- the bookish folks who loved the movie against the bookish folks who hated every moment- These wars pin family and friends against each other cause social media to burn with witty comebacks and retweets. Oh the insanity!
