Not only does she learn she’s a witch and has a powerful destiny linked to her long-lost parents but she soon discovers the quaint town is full of secrets, lies and an underlying darkness.

As the sun rises and the body of a local scuba instructor is pulled from the ocean, Kelly finds herself drawn into a dangerous murder mystery that will challenge everything she believes about herself, the town and her family’s history.

With the clock ticking and a killer on the loose, Kelly must risk everything in order to stop the darkness from taking hold of another innocent life. Now if she can just get a handle on these new powers, her brothers antics, her batty aunt Barb, and a hot surfer with eyes for her, things might just work out.

Kelly Winters has nothing but troubles. She is recently divorced and has lost her job with no where to go but the small town of Haven to live with her brother she packs up her cars and drives. Her brother is immature but very successful and now Kelly has no choice but to live with him can her life get any weirder?  Why yes, yes it can!

The sweet-

I am a sucker for a good cozy mystery with a paranormal and this book was just up my alley!  The author is able to give you a realistic feel to the paranormal world and creative well balanced characters like our main character Kelly. Kelly is smart and sassy and down on her luck, while her brother is a class clown on living like a king. I love watching the kind of Ying and Yang realtionship they have develop.

I also really enjoyed the small town vibe the author is able to weave into this story line- it oozes of the pages and makes the reader feel at home. The mystery itself was well thought out and kept me guessing the whole time!

I would recommend this to any one who enjoys a good Hallmark Mystery as this book would feel right at home!
